Brandenburg Gate

The Bradenburg Gate was built between 1788 to 1791 by Prussian King Frederick William ll. The architect were Carl Gothard Langhans,  and Johann Gotlfried Schadow. The Bradenburg Gate is the most recognizable landmark in Europe. The gate was built to symbolize Prussia's military victory over France, an iron cross was added to the statue.
