Schleswig Cathedral

Schleswig Cathedral, officially the Cathedral of St. Peter at Schleswig, is the main Church is the main Church of Schleswig. This Church is ranked one of the most architectural monuments in Schleswig-Holstein. Today it is the North Elbian Evangelical Lutheran Church. The construction was completed at around 1200 because an additional nave was made that could still be seen today. Construction materials were granite, tuff from the Rhine and bricks. There is a legend that King Neils haunts the Cathedral and he hunts across the moors and forests of Schleswig.

Imtech Arena: Savannah I.

The Imtech arena is a football stadium in Hamburg, Germany. It was opened on July 12, 1953 by Manfred O. Steuerwald and can hold more than 55,000 people. It is used and owned by the Hamburg SV football team and is said to have a height of 35m. The stadium was used for the 2006 football World Cup.



Gottorf Castle

Gottorf Castle is a castle and estate in Scheleswig,Scheleswig-Holstein,Germany. It was first settled as an estate in 1161. The Duke of Scheleswig acquired it through a purchase in 1268. It was transferred to the Count of Holstein at Rendsburg of the House of Schauenburg in 1340. It was used as a displaced persons camp during World War II. It has been renovated and resorted since 1947 and was completed in 1996.

Burgsee

Burgsee is a lake in Scheleswig,Schelewig-Holstein,Germany. There are so many things to do in the area. For example, you could go cycling, visit different museums and galleries, go boating or go on a cruise, and there are also a variety of pizzerias and seafood restaurants if you're hungry.


Topography of Terror

The Topography of Terror is an indoor-outdoor museum in Berlin, Germany. At this cite is where the Nazis planned most of there crimes. But when rediscovered in the 1980s as ruins, it reestablished historical memories in Berlin. The gate was originally built between the years 1933 - 1945.



Brandenburg Gate

The Bradenburg Gate was built between 1788 to 1791 by Prussian King Frederick William ll. The architect were Carl Gothard Langhans,  and Johann Gotlfried Schadow. The Bradenburg Gate is the most recognizable landmark in Europe. The gate was built to symbolize Prussia's military victory over France, an iron cross was added to the statue.



Berlin Wall

The Berlin Wall was built on August 13, 1961. The German Democratic Republic or East Germany. The Berlin Wall was built to keep Western "fascists" from entering East Germany. It was built to seperate West Berlin and East Berlin.
